Rachel Roberts

I am a visual artist based in Waterford, Ireland. I work with lens-based media, primarily analog photography. My practice explores memory, time and place through ephemeral and fragmented imagery. I use process-based research and material experimentation as my primary methods of enquiry. I work mainly with 35mm film, Polaroid, Super 8 and my own family photo archives, using slow and tactile processes to examine how images hold memory.
